PROJECT INTRODUCTION
Cartier VIP Multimedia Exhibition at K11, Hong Kong
This interactive multimedia exhibition for Cartier, located in Hong Kong’s K11, was designed to showcase the brand’s history and iconic products through a series of immersive experiences. I worked as a visual designer on this project, collaborating closely with the exhibition planning team to develop the overall design concept for the space. My responsibilities included defining the visual style of the exhibition, creating keyframes and design mockups for interactive media content, and co-developing the in-exhibition app in partnership with colleagues based in Hong Kong.
Working on this project was a deeply rewarding experience. I not only gained a deeper understanding of Cartier’s brand culture and design philosophy but also explored the stories behind many of its classic jewelry pieces. As someone with a background in illustration, I especially enjoyed the challenge of experimenting with design drafts in the style of Cartier’s historical and contemporary designers.
Of course, the project also involved important adjustments—particularly in conveying the evolution of Cartier’s brand story. I had to research and analyze the visual styles from different eras of the brand’s history and align my design direction with Cartier’s core aesthetic. This process took time and effort, but it significantly broadened my perspective and enhanced my ability to work within a luxury brand’s visual system. It was a major step forward in my design career.
